Getting help for suicidal thoughts

  • Talking to someone about how you are feeling can help. Once you start talking it gets better. You can talk to a family, friend, teacher, anyone who you trust.

  • Go to your doctor. They can get different resources for you and run tests to find out what's going on.

  • Book an appointment to see a therapist.

  • If you feel you cant keep yourself safe you can call the police or ambulance or you can go to your nearest hospital. I know it can be frightening to do this but these people want to help you and you're NOT wasting anyone's time. Everyone needs help from time to time.

  • Call a helpline.
